Procurement firm to hike England’s highest peak for charity
ACT Solutions, a firm specialising in helping schools and corporations with their procurement needs will hike Scafell Pike for Acorns Children's Hospice charity.
The team has joined forces with The Training Club to raise funds for the charity and will complete England's highest peak on Saturday 27th April.
Charlotte Higgs, director of ACT Solutions said: “As a family run business who aim to give something back and being moms ourselves, we couldn’t imagine having a poorly child.
“Acorns is a local charity providing care for babies, children and young people, who have life limiting or life-threatening conditions.
“Although Scafell Pike will be a challenge for us it is nothing compared to what these remarkable families have to go through.
“ACT Solutions work with many schools across the UK, looking at ways to help save money and give something back to the children.
“This year we have decided to take part in more charity organised events to raise awareness and give something back that isn’t just aimed at the education sector but to all.”
