Property consultancy strengthens team with two new hires  

A property consultancy has strengthened its commercial property management team in Birmingham with two hires as it accelerates growth across key commercial sectors.

Fisher German has appointed Emma Singleton as a senior surveyor in property management and Valeria Tebliashkina as a graduate surveyor, bringing its commercial property management team up to a full complement of 10 surveyors and 2 facilities managers.

Emma joins as senior surveyor, adding further capacity to a team responsible for managing commercial estates across Fisher German's client portfolio.

She said: “I was excited to join Fisher German because I really connect with the firm's values, particularly on integrity and innovation, and its strong portfolio of industrial units.

“I've been a property manager for seven years, working across retail, offices, industrial, shopping centres, public houses, residential and healthcare properties, and I'm looking forward to bringing that experience to the team here.”

Valeria joins as a graduate surveyor for an eight-month placement, forming part of the firm's graduate programme.

She said: “I was drawn to Fisher German because the firm's values and culture came across so strongly throughout the recruitment process, with communication that felt clear and approachable from the outset.

“The graduate programme was a big part of that too, giving me the chance to rotate through different departments before settling on a specialism, and to learn from people across the firm's network of offices.

“I chose surveying because no two days are the same, drawing on property, law, construction, finance and client relationships in equal measure. I'm looking forward to completing my APC with Fisher German, and being based in Birmingham feels like an exciting time to start, given how much development is happening in the city.”

The appointments mark the team's only additions in the past 12 months, reflecting a deliberate approach to building a stable, settled team rather than expanding through frequent hiring.
