Property services firm extends contract with major shopping centre
Grosvenor Services has announced the retention of its facilities management contract at Europe’s largest shopping centre, Westfield London.
The deal marks a significant achievement in its long-standing partnership with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW).
Established in 1959, family-owned Grosvenor Services provides a range of services, including cleaning, facilities management, security management, mechanical and electrical, grounds maintenance, waste management and catering.
It employs over 4,500 staff across the UK, Ireland and the USA.
Alongside this retention, Grosvenor has successfully expanded this relationship with three additional shopping centres to provide comprehensive cleaning, facilities management, and environmental services.
This multi-million partnership includes three new locations - Westfield Stratford City, and Centrale & Whitgift in Croydon.
This five-year extension leverages Grosvenor’s extensive experience managing high-footfall, complex retail environments while tailoring services to the unique retail and hospitality requirements of each site.
Katie Wyle, head of shopping management at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, said: “We are delighted to continue and extend our partnership with Grosvenor Services.
“Their commitment to excellence in facilities management plays a vital role in creating a seamless, welcoming and high-quality environment across our destinations, benefiting both our visitors and retailers.”
Bernard McCauley, group managing director of Grosvenor Services said: “We are proud of our long-standing relationship with Westfield as a trusted partner of choice for over eight years.
“We are delighted to extend this partnership, and we look forward to working with URW over the next five years to ensure the highest standards, bespoke service and excellent guest experience.
“This relationship is testament to the hard work and dedication of our talented team, who fully embrace our vision, and the values and goals of URW.”
