Property valuations expert joins growing Birmingham consultancy
A property valuations expert has joined a leading consultancy in the Midlands as it looks to grow the service in the region.
Andy Briggs has joined Fisher German’s valuations team in Birmingham as a partner, after an extensive career with JLL and BNP Paribas Real Estate and will use his expertise to provide clients with accurate, informed advice in a challenging landscape.
He will oversee Fisher German’s growing Birmingham valuations team, based out of its office on Colmore Row, and will aim to help the firm win new work and expand the team over the next few years.
Andy has experience in valuing complex mixed portfolios including office, industrial, retail, and more, while also having great knowledge of modern valuation methods, including environmental, social and governance measures that are increasingly affecting property values.
He said: “Fisher German has long been a trusted advisor to a wide range of clients and this role offers me a great opportunity to contribute to that continued success.
“The company appealed to me because of its size and ambitious nature for growth and development, alongside its people-focused culture and values.
“There is a great depth of knowledge and services offered at Fisher German and I’m looking forward to bringing my own experience to the team.”
Jason Clines, head of commercial valuation for the Midlands at Fisher German, added: “We are delighted that Andy has joined the valuations team in Birmingham to grow the service across the Midlands.
“Our national valuation service has grown significantly with dedicated teams operating out of Manchester, Liverpool, Ashby de la Zouch, Market Harborough, Birmingham, Worcester, Banbury and London.
“Andy’s appointment demonstrates our commitment to providing a comprehensive valuation service for our clients in the Midlands region, who need reliable, accurate data given the challenges faced in the market in recent times.
“It is an exciting time for the Midlands valuation team, and we are looking forward to Andy being at the forefront of our planned growth.”
