PYVITAL and Sport 4 Life collaborate to support youth employability through mock interviews

A Birmingham-based consultancy has partnered with a youth employment charity to give young people hands on interview experience as they enter the world of work.

The day included mock interviews led by the PYVITAL team, giving young people the opportunity to experience realistic interview scenarios and receive honest, constructive feedback.

Alongside the mock interviews, participants took part in a confidence-building session covering professional presentation, making a strong first impression, and understanding what to expect during interviews. One-to-one CV reviews were also delivered, with personalised guidance on strengthening CVs and improving social media presence to better reflect employability skills.

Sport 4 Life works with young people across the West Midlands to improve confidence, life skills and employment prospects.

This collaboration highlights the positive impact that partnerships between local businesses and community organisations can have in supporting young people’s career development.

Leanne Perry, Founder of PYVITAL, said: “For many young people, interviews and recruitment processes can feel unfamiliar and intimidating. Being able to offer practical experience and honest feedback helps build confidence and prepares them for real-world opportunities. We’re grateful to Sport 4 Life for the opportunity to support the important work they do across the West Midlands.”

PYVITAL would like to thank Sport 4 Life for the opportunity to contribute to the programme and support the next generation with practical career guidance.
