Queen Alexandra Charity receives ‘Gold standard’ people accreditation

The Queen Alexandra Charity, which supports young adults with learning difficulties and disabilities, has been awarded the We invest in people gold accreditation by Investors in People.

The gold accreditation means that the charity has a high level of commitment to employee development, engagement, and organisational excellence.

Queen Alexandra Charity supports young adults with learning difficulties and disabilities through education (Queen Alexandra College), supported living (Residential Services) and Community Services. 

It also runs a variety of different enterprises whose profits are then directed to the charity to further support their work.  The enterprises include everything from hiring out their facilities to All Formats, a service which provides information in alternative formats such as braille, audio and large print.
