Quizzers sought in support of charity
Businesses across Lichfield and Tamworth are being encouraged to join a quiz night alongside the Chamber 's chosen charity.
Number Eight Tamworth - a charity providing supportive accommodation for young mums and their babies, as well as pregnant young mums to be - is the chosen charity for the Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber.
They are calling on businesses across the area to join them in taking part in the Great Midlands Quiz on Saturday 8 October.
Dawn Candy, operations manager, said: “Since being named as the Chamber 's chosen charity this is the first big fundraising push we have done and I really hope many people in businesses across Lichfield and Tamworth get involved.
“It 's been a huge thing for us to have attended various events and already created lasting connections with business people and employees and this is hopefully a more informal way for us to ask for support. ”
Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber president, Jason Challoner, said: “Number Eight Tamworth are such a worthy cause for our business community to support and do so much amazing work in offering secure and welcoming refuge for young mums and their babies.
“We very much support the call for our members to get involved a week on Saturday. ”
The quiz night itself can be played online or through your phone and aims at supporting more than 40 Midlands charities.
The winning prize is a night stay at the Red Panda Cottage at the West Midlands Safari Park.
