Race equality taskforce chair joins Chamber conference line-up

A lawyer who chairs the West Midlands Combined Authority 's Race Equality Taskforce has been added to the line-up of speakers at a major leadership and productivity conference hosted by Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce.

Yetunde Dania (pictured), a partner and head of Birmingham office at law firm Trowers & Hamlins, will speak at the Chamber 's Growth Through People conference at the Eastside Rooms on 30 March.

Yetunde has more than 20 years' experience of advising social housing sector and private sector landlords and their agents in relation to housing management and residential landlord and tenant non-contentious issues and disputes

In December, she was appointed to chair the WMCA 's taskforce set up to take action to improve equality of opportunity for all communities across the West Midlands.

She joins an impressive line-up of speakers at the Growth Through People conference - including Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games chief executive Ian Reid, Dr Justin Varney, director of public health at Birmingham City Council, Lisa Powney, senior consultant at Curium Solutions Limited, and Karl George MBE, managing director at the Governance Forum Ltd and partner at RSM UK.

Yetunde will be sharing her personal leadership journey, advice for businesses on inspiring and developing the next generation of leaders, the role of the WMCA Race Equality Task force and why it is important.
