Racing experience and £400 dinner among awards raffle prizes
The three presidents of Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield & Tamworth and Cannock Chase Chambers have said a collective 'thank you ' to a wide range of businesses who have kindly donated prizes towards the charity raffle ahead of this Friday 's SLTC Awards 2022 being held at Drayton Manor Park Hotel.
Three chosen charities will be attending on the night to encourage guests to dip into their pockets and support their causes aiming to raise in excess of £2000 with St Giles Hospice, Sutton Coldfield YMCA and Newlife hoping to reap the benefit of guests ' kindness.
Prizes in the raffle include:
- Arthur Price vision pattern eight-person cutlery set made of the finest stainless steel with a 50-year guarantee worth £250 (Donated by: Arthur Price)
- Thursday night exclusive invite for four people to the Chef 's Table at The Boat Inn (drinks not included) worth £400 (Donated by: The Boat Inn)
- Get an exclusive insight into the world of a professional racing driving with 2 tickets to the award winning Base Performance Simulator with runyourfleet.com on Thursday 24 February 2022 worth £800 (Donated by: runyourfleet.com)
- 2 tickets to the Boardroom Club for Birmingham City vs Middlesbrough FC on 15th March 2022 worth £250 (Donated by: Pure Cloud Solutions)
- Massage for 2 including complimentary add-on of your choice at The Massage Company, Mere Green worth £200 (Donated by: The Massage Company)
- Match Ball sponsorship package to include 4 tickets, half time ball presentation, buffet lunch and beer tower on arrival for a Chasetown FC game worth over £300 (Donated by: Chasetown FC)
- 4 Ball at a top Midlands golf course to include the PGA at The Belfry and Forest of Arden worth over £300 (Donated by: Crown Highways)
Tickets for the raffle are priced at £10 per ticket with all money donated being split between the three charities.
Phil Arkinstall (pictured), president of Sutton Coldfield Chamber said: "Sutton Coldfield YMCA are a huge supporter of disadvantaged and disabled children across the area and depend on donations to help provide vital outreach programmes, special trips and more targeted family support."
Jason Challoner, president of Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber said: "St Giles Hospice have supported untold numbers of families and patients through their considerate and caring staff and support programmes not only during a very difficult time in the pandemic but also for many years previously at their base in Whittington and throughout the community."
Gill Durkin, president of Cannock Chase Chamber said: 'Newlife have been a longstanding presence with retail shops throughout Cannock Chase and beyond and the money they raise goes so far to support disabled and terminally ill children with the
equipment they need to live a comfortable life. All three Presidents are sure the generosity of the businesses who have donated such a fantastic array of prizes will be matched by all those in attendance on Friday to raise as much money as possible. '
