Rail service trials zero emission logistics transport to London and Glasgow

Rail service provider Varamis Rail is now trialing a new logistics operation from Birmingham to London and Glasgow with electric trains.

The logistics service from Birmingham to London takes two hours while the service to Glasgow takes four hours.

The rail service said the new trial will ensure deliveries to be more quicker and efficient, cheaper, environment friend, supports clean air strategies and would offer a sustainable alternative currently not achievable elsewhere.

The trial which started from last Monday will run throughout the coming two weeks.
