The Randal Charitable Foundation and LoveBrum have joined forces for a new strategic partnership - bringing vital support to grassroots charities and volunteer-led causes throughout Birmingham.

The collaboration unites two organisations with a shared vision to make a meaningful impact to the lives of local people.

Through the partnership, the Charitable Foundation will provide financial support to help LoveBrum expand its reach and continue to shine a light on hidden, volunteer-led causes that are transforming local communities.

LoveBrum, a Birmingham-based charity, is dedicated to supporting projects which are often overlooked by larger funding streams.

By giving a voice and platform to these initiatives, the charity helps ensure that the hidden gem projects receive the recognition and resources they need to grow.

The Randal Charitable Foundation, whose mission is to save and significantly improve lives, has supported more than 100 charities and projects since its inception. Its partnership with LoveBrum reflects a commitment to investing in communities and enabling sustainable change at the local level.

Dr Nik Kotecha OBE DL, founder and chairman of the Randal Foundation, said: “We are extremely pleased to support LoveBrum, and have provided a significant grant from our Foundation so that they can continue their valued and important work.

“Across Birmingham, LoveBrum plays a key role in identifying small grass root charities that make a real difference to the lives of people within their communities.

“Organisations like LoveBrum have a deep understanding of the specific challenges facing their communities, and are connected within a network of otherwise often hard-to-find small charities, organisations who do vital work and reach those most in need.

“By partnering in this way, we aim to ensure our collective efforts create impact at scale – significantly improving the lives of many local people, and tackling wide-ranging issues, from combating youth knife crime to alleviating poverty with each grant made.”

Adam Heard, partnerships and charity manager, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to the Randal Charitable Foundation for their generous support.

“It is great to partner with such a great foundation that has made such an impact on lives not just locally but right across the world.

“This funding will help us continue to make a real difference across Birmingham, supporting the local hidden gem projects that make such a difference to lives across our community.”

The partnership has also supported several Birmingham based causes including Better Pathways, Standing Tall, Foundation 2 Change, and Born2Sing.
