Recruiter partners with Sport 4 Life to help young people into work
Birmingham-based recruitment and consultancy business PYVITAL has announced a new partnership with local charity Sport 4 Life UK.
The two organisations will work together to support young people across the West Midlands in taking their first steps into employment.
PYVITAL recently joined Sport 4 Life’s Game Changers Business Club – a network of forward-thinking businesses committed to helping young people gain the skills, confidence and access they need to move into work.
Becoming a Game Changer marks the start of a partnership that combines Sport 4 Life’s expertise in youth employability with PYVITAL’s experience in recruitment and people development.
Through the partnership, PYVITAL’s recruitment team will be donating their time to deliver interview coaching and employability support to young people coming through Sport 4 Life programmes.
With PYVITAL’s support, Sport 4 Life’s young people will have the opportunity to build connections, receive real-world feedback on their interview skills, and access guidance in finding employment opportunities across key sectors.
The business will also be working alongside the charity to help create meaningful employment opportunities for young people across the region.
Leanne Perry, founder of PYVITAL, said: “This partnership really captures what we’re about as a business.
“We’re in a position to use our skills and networks to open doors for others, and that’s what progress means to us.
“Supporting young people into work, especially those who just need that bit of extra confidence or opportunity, feels like the right way to make a difference locally.”
Rob Wells, chief operating officer at Sport 4 Life UK, who are members of the Birmingham and Solihull Chambers of Commerce, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with PYVITAL.
“Their team’s commitment to supporting young people into meaningful employment aligns perfectly with our mission.
“It’s fantastic to see a recruitment business using its expertise to make a real social impact, and together we can help more young people move into work with the confidence and support they need.”
For PYVITAL, the partnership forms part of a broader community focus that includes fundraising for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and running a free mentoring scheme for professionals at different stages of their careers.
Leanne added: “As a team, we’ve always believed business can be a force for good. We want to show that recruitment doesn’t have to be transactional, it can be human, supportive, and community-led.
“Working with Sport 4 Life gives us a chance to prove that in action.”
