Recruitment boss to address Chamber report launch

A director from one of the region 's leading recruitment firms has been confirmed as the final speaker for the launch of the Chamber 's latest Quarterly Business Report.

Matt Burling (pictured), divisional director at SF Executive - part of Chamber patron SF Recruitment - is speaking at tomorrow 's event to launch the report for the third quarter.

Matt is an experienced member of the Midlands recruitment team and has specialised in the recruitment of marketing roles across the region for more than a decade.

He specialises in the senior end of the sales and marketing market in the Midlands.

Matt is experienced in various recruitment techniques including retained search assignments and running branded advertising campaigns for clients in the Blue Chip, PE/VC, and SME space.

He will discuss wider recruitment trends across the region and the steps businesses are putting in place to overcome recruitment issues.

Raj Kandola, head of policy at Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, said: “We are delighted that Matt will be joining us to share insight and expertise on the recruitment issues that firms across the region are facing right now.

The event will be chaired by Deborah Leary, vice president of Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce and CEO of Forensic Pathways

Also speaking at the event is Claire Hatton, head of skills delivery at the West Midlands Combined Authority on the role the WMCA will play to tackle long standing skills gaps in the region and create new employment pathways.
