Recruitment consultants celebrate 35 years in business
KSB Recruitment Consultants are celebrating 35 years in the catering and hospitality recruitment sector.
Founded in 1991, the Solihull-based agency has grown into one of the UK’s most respected independent hospitality and catering recruitment firms.
Managing director Dawn Bannister launched the business in 1991 with £37 in her pocket, a three-month-old baby in tow and a fierce determination to succeed.
Dawn said: “I had no blueprint. No mentor who looked like me. No manual for what it meant to build a recruitment agency from scratch as a woman in an industry that wasn't always sure what to do with women like me.”
KSB Recruitment is a nationally respected specialist in hospitality and catering staffing, supporting hotels, restaurants contract caterers, care providers and event venues across the UK with both temporary and permanent recruitment solutions.
The business has developed deep sector knowledge and a client portfolio that spans regional independents to some of the most prestigious names in the UK and international hospitality.
Over the past 35 years, the company has achieved key milestones such as investors in people accreditation, multiple industry award nominations, major public sector contracts, and most recently preferred supplier status with a global luxury hotel group.

The business is a signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant and holds the Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award, actively supporting veterans, reservists and military families in civilian employment.
