Recruitment specialists awarded REC Audited Status

West Midlands hospitality and catering recruitment specialist, KSB Recruitment Consultants, has been awarded Audited Status by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC).

The status was confirmed in August 2026 and runs until August 2028, following an independent audit of the business’s policies and procedures.

The audit assessed KSB against the Employment Agencies Act, the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, and the REC Code of Professional Practice. KSB will now be listed in the REC's directory of audited members.

Founded in Birmingham in 1991, KSB Recruitment Consultants places temporary, temp-to-perm and permanent staff across Chefs, front-of-house, housekeeping, events and management roles.

KSB works with hotels, restaurants, contract caterers and venues across the UK, with all temporary workers paid directly through KSB's own PAYE payroll.

The achievement comes as KSB Recruitment Consultants marks 35 years in the industry. Earlier this year, the business was named Best Company Overall at the Birmingham Business Best Places to Work Awards.

“Being audited by the REC means someone independent has been through how we work, from right-to-work checks to how our temps are paid, and confirmed it stands up.

“After 35 years of doing this the right way, it's good to have it on paper. Our clients can book a chef for a Friday night knowing the paperwork behind that placement is sound."
