Redknapp to appear at sporting lunch
Harry Redknapp will officially launch the Sporting Club in Birmingham at a lunch at Edgbaston Cricket Ground on Monday 21 June.
The former football manager and winner of 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here ' will feature at the Sporting Club's first event in Birmingham, with a three-course lunch and a big interview.
Guests can enjoy a welcome drink and photos with Harry (pictured), printed and framed and given to them during the lunch, a sumptuous meal, an entertaining Q&A session plus drinks afterwards in the 501* Lounge - the new, official home of the Sporting Club in Birmingham.
Other well-known names will also be in the room at a lunch that will raise funds for local charity Get Ahead.
He said: “I'm delighted to be the first lunch guest at the new Sporting Club in Birmingham and equally delighted to help open the club at Edgbaston for business.
“I'm looking forward to a fabulous day at the Sporting Club. ”
The Sporting Club is a business club for those who like their sport with permanent venues members can use daily in London, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool and now Birmingham.
As well as other perks - a proactive networking mechanism, a wine society, a hospitality division - it stages numerous high profile events.
Coming to Birmingham next will be a Denise Lewis/Commonwealth Games Lunch on 6 July, a Botham 's Ashes 40th Anniversary Dinner with all the team on 5 August , a Sugar Ray Leonard Dinner on 21 September and a David Haye Dinner on 8 October.
