Region 's recovery prospects to be discussed at report launch
The prospects of a strong economic recovery for Greater Birmingham will be discussed at the launch of the Chamber 's Quarterly Business Report next week.
The webinar to launch the Q2 report takes place on Thursday 24 June and will feature Birmingham City Council 's director of public health, Dr Justin Varney, and Sam Taylor (pictured), creative director at media firm Tinker Taylor.
Dr Varney, who joined the council in 2019 from Public Health England, has been a regular fixture at Chamber QBR briefings since the pandemic began - providing vital updates on the Covid-19 crisis.
This time around, he will be speaking on the subject of adapting to the post-lockdown landscape and the impact on the business community.
Ms Taylor is creative director at Tinker Taylor, a video production agency in Birmingham.
Before launching Tinker Taylor, she spent 10 years in the television industry, producing and directing both live and location-based shows mainly for the BBC, ITV, C4, SKY and TV NZ.
She will discuss the impact of the pandemic on her business and the steps she took to overcome the issues created by the pandemic.
