Renewable energy firm completes successful EV charger installation
Renewable energy firm Volt-Age has successfully installed electric vehicle (EV) chargers at two prominent locations within the Busch Group: Busch Vacuum Solutions in Telford and Vacuum Furnace Engineering in Halesowen.
The team has installed five untethered Zappi chargers by Myenergi at the Busch Vacuum Solutions site and three additional chargers at Vacuum Furnace Engineering.
The Zappi chargers were chosen for their advanced technology, sleek design, and compatibility with solar power, aligning perfectly with our ethos of embracing renewable energy sources.
A key feature of this installation is the integration of the Myenergi online portal, which allows for comprehensive tracking and management of each charger's usage. This smart solution provides clients with real-time data on energy consumption, facilitating effective management and optimisation of their EV charging infrastructure.
Zappi chargers are known for their solar compatibility. Busch Vacuum Solutions, already equipped with solar panels, will significantly benefit from this feature. The integration with solar power not only boosts energy savings but also reduces the carbon footprint, paving the way for a greener future.
The government initiative of Workplace Charging Scheme offers grants for businesses looking to install EV chargers, making it more affordable and accessible. It's an excellent opportunity for companies to contribute to sustainable practices while also benefiting financially.
