Bromsgrove-based CNC automation repair specialist Neu-Servo hosted Larsen’s Pride, a children’s brain tumour charity, at the Worcester Races Family Day on Sunday, donating £1,500 to support their vital work.

Founded in memory of five-year-old Larsen Roberts, who tragically passed away in 2019, Larsen’s Pride exists to bring courage and comfort to children under 12 diagnosed with brain tumours.

The charity is dedicated to making treatment less frightening and more child-friendly, while supporting families through one of the toughest journeys imaginable.

Every year, the charity donates Larsen’s favourite Jellycat ‘big cat’ toys to children going through treatment, bringing a small but powerful sense of comfort.

They also collaborate with healthcare professionals to create resources that improve the treatment experience.

Recent projects include:

  • A child-friendly animation explaining radiotherapy in a way that young patients can understand
  • Webinars with clinical psychologists offering support for children and families
  • Professional training and CPD accreditation, helping radiographers and healthcare staff improve care for children

Lee Robinson, managing director at Neu-Servo, said: “As a Bromsgrove business, community is at the heart of everything we do.

“We are honoured to support Larsen’s Pride and the incredible difference they make to children and families.

“The Worcester Races Family Day was a wonderful reminder of the power of coming together for a cause that matters.”

Founder Holly Roberts, Larsen’s mum, said: “I started Larsen’s Pride to fight for the lost childhood of young brain tumour patients and to acknowledge their experience.

“Whether it’s through the comfort of a soft toy or raising funds for better treatment resources, our aim is to improve the lives of the youngest patients.”
