Resident discount on Solihull Summer Fest tickets

As households across the UK are impacted with the increase to cost of living, the Solihull Summer Fest organising team have announced an increase in their residents discount to help support the local community.

The festival, which is taking place on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 July at Tudor Grange Park, has upped their resident discount from 15 per cent to 20 per cent for those within the B90-95 postcodes.

Despite significant operating cost rises for the independent event organisers, Solihull Summer Fest decided not to increase their ticket prices, and offer this greater discount so attendees can still come celebrate this summer despite current inflation.

Festival organiser Ian Rogers said: “We always offer our local residents a 15 per cent discount on full price tickets, but this year we recognised the challenges that many people are facing. We wanted to increase the discount to help the local community attend Solihull Summer Fest, have fun and soak up the festival atmosphere. ”

Solihull Summer Fest is set to be a celebration for the whole family to enjoy, with big names set to perform on Saturday including headliner Shaggy, along with Sister Sledge, Boyzlife, Shalamar, Artful Dodger, Lemar and Duke.

To continue the party, Sunday will see Billy Ocean headlining, as well as Belinda Carlisle, Kool & The Gang, Bad Manners, The Real Thing and Dr & The Medics.

In addition, the new Soul Selection Stage will see Kenny Thomas and Trevor Nelson headlining, along with a host of other DJs.

The discount will remain in place until Friday 1 July (midnight) is activated using the discount code RESIDENT20.
