Restaurant teams up with bookshop for literary lunch

Chapter restaurant and Lux gallery of Greenfield Crescent, in Edgbaston Village, are teaming up with Bournville 's Bookshop on the Green to hold a midsummer day literary lunch.

This is one of the flagship events of Independent Bookshop of the Week.

Held on midsummer day from noon, lunch will include three courses with an author interviewed between each course.

The authors are:

Jo Browning-Wroe: 'A Terrible Kindness' Sunday Times bestseller, Observer 'Best Debut Novelist 2022', featured on BBC Radio 4's flagship arts programme Front Row.

Ned Palmer: 'A Cheesemonger's History of the British Isles' 2019 and 'A Cheesemonger's Compendium of British & Irish Cheeses' 2021. Ned is an engaging speaker and 'profoundly knowledgeable about his subject' - Times Literary supplement.

Ruth Millington: 'Muse: Uncovering the Hidden Figures Behind Art History's Masterpieces'. Ruth is an art historian whose book is 'exhilarating and fascinating ' - award winning author Katy Hessel.

The cost is £45pp for three courses and three authors. Tickets can be purchased via Bournville Hub.
