The Royal Business Fair has been hailed a huge success by the local business community.

Organised by the Royal Sutton Coldfield Chamber of Commerce, the event took place yesterday at the Gracechurch Centre, bringing together around 30 exhibitors and more than 200 delegates.

Focusing on building a thriving business community, the fair was officially opened by Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce acting deputy CEO Raj Kandola and Sutton Coldfield MP Andrew Mitchell.

The event started off with a speed networking session, sponsored by Midland Karting.

Delegates also benefited from an expert seminar on The Power of Personal Branding for Growth, hosted by Katrina Raipuri, director of New Vine Marketing.

Panellists included Belinda Kaur, speaker and host of BK Networks; Anita Ellis, director and copywriter at Lexicomm; Zoe Bennett, founder and CEO of Training Personified; and Neil Kearsley, founder and CEO of Endecay Professional Development.

In addition, a packed workshop on Unlocking AI for Growth and Resilience featured insights from Shaun Cremins, CX director at Insight6; Phil Webb, CEO of VU AI; Neil Bayliss from Hubtel IT; and Dagen Thompson, assistant principal at Birmingham Metropolitan College.

The event was supported by Royal Sutton Coldfield Town Council as headline sponsor.

Charlie Elliott, head of the Royal Sutton Coldfield Chamber of Commerce, said:
"It’s been fantastic to see so many businesses come together — not just to showcase their services, but to share knowledge, build connections and support one another.

“The energy in the room really reflected the strength of Sutton Coldfield’s business community, and we’re proud to play a role in helping it thrive."
