Players in the T20 team at a top cricket club in Hampshire are proudly wearing new team shirts sponsored by Multifleet Vehicle Management, which trades as runyourfleet.

The company is one of the main sponsors of Sparsholt Cricket Club, whose first team plays in the ECB Southern Premier League, with its second and third teams playing in the Hampshire Cricket League.

The club also fields a women’s team, a midweek T20 league team, and a Sunday team playing friendly fixtures with local and touring sides, plus a thriving junior section with nearly 200 members including children aged from five to 19.

Steve Whitmarsh, chief executive of runyourfleet, explained that the company was now in its third consecutive year as a sponsor of Sparsholt.

Mr Whitmarsh said: “We’re very keen to be part of the communities we serve, and this sponsorship reflects that determination.

“Sparsholt Cricket Club is one of those great community cricket clubs that accommodates everyone from the most serious and skilled players to children as young as five.

“They field teams that play at all levels, with many talented players but also enthusiasts who enjoy friendly matches, and with their youth programme they have become a real community organisation.

“We’re proud to play our part in supporting the club and its grassroots activities.”

Helen Ley, sponsorship manager at Sparsholt Cricket Club, said: “The runyourfleet sponsorship is vital to being able to maintain our community club, all its facilities and coaching programmes and ensure we can continue to provide opportunities for all ages and abilities.”

Sparsholt 1st XI have made a strong start in 2025 winning their first two league games and first two rounds of the National Village Knockout.
