Balsall Common Primary School have been invited to take part in a region-wide event, in collaboration with the Lord Lieutenancy in the West Midlands. The event is in honour of the King's coronation, entitled 'The King 's Bunting '.

On Tuesday 2 May the school will be holding an event, where they will have a special lunch, a cake competition and a whole school celebration in the afternoon attended by a host of special VIP guests.

The school 's aim is to make a human chain of bunting- 700 children long! To do this all of the children will have t-shirts, which they will be designing with them in school, which the children will get to keep as a keepsake from the event.
