Midlands-based organisation Vision for All CIC successfully delivered another Back-to-School Uniform Giveaway for local families in need.

The initiative, held across two locations – Witton Lakes Eco Hub in Erdington and McDonald’s - provided school uniform essentials to over 50 families.

Items included trousers, shirts, jumpers, skirts, stationery, pencil cases, and more, ensuring that children returned to school feeling prepared and confident.

The giveaway was organised in partnership with Witton Lakes Community Association, West Midlands Police, and Remmer Restaurants Ltd (McDonald’s).

By joining forces, the organisations were able to ease the financial burden on parents and guardians, while also promoting inclusivity and equal access to education.

Lucien Darby, CEO of Vision for All, said: “We believe every child deserves to start the school year with pride and confidence, regardless of circumstance.

“Working alongside Witton Lakes Community Association, West Midlands Police, and Remmer Restaurants allowed us to make a tangible difference for families across Erdington.”

The giveaway forms part of Vision for All’s wider mission to support communities through practical, accessible initiatives that tackle barriers faced by young people and families.

With the success of this year’s giveaway, Vision for All plan to continue building strong partnerships to expand its reach and impact across Birmingham.
