Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce are calling on businesses across the region to contribute to the West Midlands Bus Network Impact Survey.

Long-term decisions around the region’s bus network extend far beyond transportation - affecting the regional economy, the natural environment, and the well-being of every individual across the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) area.

This survey, being conducted by independent market research agency Savanta, on behalf of Transport for West Midlands (TfWM), provides a platform for businesses to influence the development of public transport across the region.

By sharing their insights, businesses are contributing to the transformation of local communities and minimising the impact that potential changes to public transport can have on regional firms.

Raj Kandola, director of External Affairs at the Chambers, said: "Getting transport infrastructure right is critical to unlocking the full potential of the West Midlands economy.

“The region’s bus network is key to reducing congestion on roads, reducing emissions - and improving the health of local residents – and ensuring that individuals can access opportunities across the West Midlands. This survey is a brilliant opportunity to inform how that network is developed.”
