Seminar provides key advice for firms looking to do business in Germany

The German-British Chamber of Industry & Commerce and the City of Düsseldorf are holding a seminar on exploring business opportunities in Germany’s North Rhine-Westphalia.

The event, taking place in London on 29 October, is aimed at British companies interested in expanding into Germany and gaining access to opportunities within the European Single Market.

North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) is Germany’s largest economic region which offers an attractive location for international companies seeking to establish or strengthen their presence in continental Europe.

The programme will provide insights into the post-Brexit economic relationship between Germany and the United Kingdom, business opportunities in NRW and Düsseldorf, and practical considerations for entering the German market.

Speakers will include representatives of the German Embassy London, the German-British Chamber of Industry & Commerce, NRW.Global Business, the City of Düsseldorf and companies with experience of operating in Germany.

Dr Ulrich Hoppe (pictured), Director General of the German-British Chamber of Industry & Commerce, said: “Germany continues to offer considerable opportunities for British companies.

The seminar will take place at the German House, 34 Belgrave Square, London SW1X 8QB, with registration at 9.30am and the programme beginning at 10am.
