City leaders can now take part in a simulation platform on the critical first hours of a cyber attacks through an immersive event.

The experience is delivered by CSS Assure, a specialist cyber and regulatory data protection consultancy, alongside international legal experts from Shakespeare Martineau and the PrivacyRules global alliance.

The session is designed for leaders who want to understand what happens in the critical first hours of an incident, when information is incomplete, pressure is intense and decisions carry real consequences.

Using the Polpeo crisis simulation platform, participants will experience a live, evolving scenario that responds to their decisions in real time.

Unlike traditional tabletop exercises, the simulation creates genuine complexity and tension, helping leadership teams test judgement, expose weaknesses and understand what effective preparedness looks like in practice.

During the session, participants will deal with simulated social media activity, news coverage and misinformation, as well as client reaction and regulatory scrutiny.

They will also navigate internal disruption, board escalation and operational pressures, while engaging in cross‑functional decision‑making spanning legal, data protection, cyber, communications and finance.

Attendees will leave with a clear, realistic understanding of how major cyber incidents unfold with insight into the legal, regulatory, technical and communications challenges faced in real time.

They will also have the opportunity to test and refine incident response planning in a safe environment and receive practical recommendations to strengthen organisational resilience and leadership under pressure.

The session is aimed at senior leaders with responsibility for risk, governance, cybersecurity, operations, communications, executive oversight or crisis response.

Places are limited due to the immersive nature of the simulation. Tickets are priced at £240 where Chamber members could be eligible for a discount.

Speaking about the event, Martin Hall from M Hall Limited, said: "Every business should experience ‘Boardroom Breach’. This was extremely useful.”
