Shepherd Commercial secures Solihull town centre letting for expanding wellness brand The Hot Tribe
Shepherd Commercial has secured a new Solihull town centre home for fast-growing wellness business The Hot Tribe, which is investing £100,000 to create a flagship wellbeing destination.
The wellness operator has taken 7,819 sq ft at Clarendon House, 90 High Street, Solihull, where it will create a new facility featuring hot yoga, reformer Pilates, recovery facilities and treatment rooms.
The move will see The Hot Tribe relocate to substantially larger premises as it continues to expand its community-led wellness offering, while bringing a prominent town centre unit back into use after being vacant for two years.
The first-floor premises occupies a prominent position adjacent to Touchwood in one of Solihull’s busiest locations. The letting was secured by Solihull and Birmingham-based commercial property advisory firm Shepherd Commercial.
Founded in 2014, The Hot Tribe has grown from a specialist hot yoga studio into a broader wellness business offering a range of classes and wellbeing services.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, the business launched free online classes to help hundreds of people stay active, connected and supported during periods of isolation. The initiative strengthened its community and helped lay the foundations for the business’s continued growth.
Today, The Hot Tribe’s community includes professional athletes, corporate teams, families and retirees, with the new Solihull facility designed to bring its full range of wellness services together under one roof.
The first phase of the new facility is expected to open before Christmas, with further elements of the development launching in the New Year.
Zak Miah, founder and owner of The Hot Tribe, said: “We are incredibly excited about this move as it allows us to bring together everything we’ve been working towards since we opened.
“The Hot Tribe has never simply been about exercise classes. Over the years we’ve built a genuinely supportive community where people from all backgrounds come together, and that is what makes the space special.
“This investment will bring a building that has been vacant for over two years back into use and create a long-term wellness destination in the heart of Solihull.
“Our aim is to open before Christmas, ready to welcome both existing and new members as they begin their New Year health and wellbeing journey.”
Kaine Arkinson, managing director of Shepherd Commercial, said: “We are delighted to have completed this letting on behalf of the landlord and to welcome The Hot Tribe to such a prominent town centre location.
“Clarendon House offers a unique opportunity in the heart of Solihull and we were confident the right occupier would recognise the potential of the space.
“The Hot Tribe’s plans represent a significant investment in the property and will bring a vibrant new use to a building that has been vacant for some time.
“This deal demonstrates the continued strength of demand for well-positioned town centre space from ambitious independent operators. The Hot Tribe has built an excellent reputation, and we are pleased to have helped facilitate the next stage of its growth.”
