Shipping company wins globally recognised award
KMB Shipping Group has been awarded the globally recognised Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status for customs.
The accreditation, assessed and facilitated by HMRC, shows KMB 's role in the international supply chain meets the highest possible standards for customs control as set out by HMRC.
The achievement comes just weeks after KMB Shipping were awarded the prestigious Queen 's Award for Enterprise in International Trade, regarded worldwide as one of the most coveted business awards in the UK.
KMB are currently working with the Cabinet Office to offer practical guidance to businesses that import and export on the new trading rules since the end of the Brexit transition period.
