Tickets are still available for the Birmingham Publicity Association's summer networking event in the city.

A Late Summer Night with the BPA is set to take place against the backdrop of Digbeth's Custard Factory on Thursday 14 September.

The popular event, being held in Birdies Bar, is set to raise hundreds of pounds for the BPA's chosen charity, Winston's Wish and members and non-members are being invited to attend the event, running from 6pm where they can enjoy networking alongside drinks, burgers and late summer vibes.

Selena Higgins-McCarron, co-chair of the BPA, said: “As the sun sets on the summer season, we invite our esteemed members and guests to join us for A Late Summer Night.

“This event serves as a testament to our commitment to fostering meaningful connections and celebrating achievements within the thriving creative business community of Birmingham, the West Midlands, and beyond.

“Attendees will be treated to an evening of elegant entertainment, thoughtfully curated to evoke the essence of a summer soiree.

“The event's resident DJ, Morais Vibes, will weave a melodious tapestry of Ibiza closing party vibes, ensuring a captivating musical experience throughout the soir�e. Upon arrival, each guest will be welcomed with a complimentary cocktail and shooter, epitomising the vibrancy of summer.”

Tickets for the event cost £35 for BPA members and £40 for non-members.

The BPA has existed since the 1930s, supporting the media and creative industries in the region, while raising money for key charities that its members wish to support. Its members include global organisations to sole traders, graduate trainees right up to CEOs and MDs, media owners and agencies, advertising and marketing agencies, digital agencies, PR agencies and freelancers.

Winston's Wish helps children throughout the UK, and they are currently in their first of two years' of support by the BPA to benefit from its fundraising activity. The BPA, which has raised tens of thousands of pounds throughout its almost 90 year history, chooses a charity every few years to focus their fundraising efforts.

Membership for the BPA starts from only £40 for individuals and £100 for groups.
