Signage company celebrates 10 years at Hardy Place

Signage manufacturer, Hardy Signs, welcomed MP Kate Griffiths to celebrate 10 years of doing business at Hardy Place.

Hardy Place is located in Burton Upon Trent and has been the headquarter of Hardy Signs Ltd since July 2011.

It is also known as one of the manufacturing bases of Staffordshire.

Since starting the business in 1993, the company have traded at Hawkins Lane, Wharf Road and Hunter Street and produced and installed over 1 million signs.

Visiting the team at Hardy Place to mark a decade since setting up shop was Kate Griffiths, Member of Parliament for Burton and Uttoxeter.

Kate Griffiths said: “It was fantastic to visit Hardy Signs as Nik and his team celebrate 10 years of business at Hardy Place.

“Hardy Signs has an outstanding reputation as a leading signage company in the UK and has won many awards over the years, including Manufacture of the Year in 2020 at the Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.

“Their numerous signage products cover a wide variety of business sectors, including some of our best known and loved brands. The company invests not only in technology but also in its people and is also at the heart of our community here in Burton. ”

Nik Hardy, managing director of Hardy Signs, said: “We were delighted to host Kate Griffiths MP at Hardy Place, helping us celebrate 10 years in this building. ”

“We 're truly a nationwide company now, although our roots will always be here in Burton. ”
