A Burton-based signage manufacturer has been reflecting on a golden summer - in which it played a key role in the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Hardy Signs contributed a number of signs, banners and graphics to the sporting extravaganza, working alongside a number of event partners and local authorities.

Their work included supplying and fitting graphics with anti-graffiti lamination for all hoardings at Chamberlain Square - including images of Perry The Bull.

More than 300 double-sided banners and banner arms were also fitted around Sandwell, which staged the swimming and diving competitions at the new aquatics centre,

Full-colour vinyl were also provided to wrap parts of TV trucks in Sutton Park and Cannock Chase.

Managing director of Hardy Signs, Nik Hardy, said: ' 'We are really pleased to have been entrusted with this high profile project, a very proud moment for Hardy Signs that needs celebrating. ' '

Operations director, Tom Hardy, said: ' 'We really enjoyed printing and installing the signage.

“The atmosphere in and around the venue was spectacular and our team worked around the clock to get everything completed within the tight deadlines. ' '
