Six Months with Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce: Building connections and momentum
Six months ago, Rezinate Renovationz joined the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce with a simple goal: to connect with like-minded businesses, expand our network within construction and property, and continue growing a brand built around high-end decorative finishes.
In that time, the experience has been incredibly valuable—not just for business development, but for learning, collaboration and strengthening relationships within the local business community.
Connecting through chamber events
One of the most rewarding aspects of Chamber membership has been the opportunity to attend a wide range of networking events and learning sessions.
From traditional networking meet-ups to speed networking events and educational webinars, the Chamber has created spaces where meaningful conversations can happen.
These events have allowed us to meet professionals across construction, property, design and facilities management—industries that naturally align with the services we provide at Rezinate Renovationz.
Networking through the Chamber has also opened the door to conversations with businesses we may not have otherwise met, creating opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Growing our presence in the construction and property space
Alongside Chamber events, we have continued to actively network within the wider construction and property sectors. Building relationships with contractors, property developers, architects and facilities managers has been a key part of our strategy as we expand awareness of decorative resin finishes and luxury surface solutions.
Rezinate Renovationz specialises in high-end epoxy resin flooring, decorative finishes and bespoke pieces that combine durability with design.
Over the past six months we’ve completed several installations across residential and commercial spaces, helping clients transform floors and surfaces into something unique.
Alongside flooring installations, we’ve also been developing our creative side of the business.
This includes bespoke resin art pieces and memorial pieces, which allow us to create meaningful and highly personalised designs for clients.
Trade shows and exhibitions
Another exciting development has been our participation in trade shows and exhibitions within the construction and home improvement space.
These events provide a fantastic platform to demonstrate resin finishes, meet potential clients, and showcase the versatility of epoxy resin surfaces.
Exhibiting allows people to see the materials up close, understand the craftsmanship involved, and explore how decorative finishes can be incorporated into both residential and commercial projects.
Education, skills and industry development
Professional development has also been a major focus over the past six months.
Through various business coaching programmes, we have been strengthening our leadership, organisation and strategic planning skills to ensure the business continues to grow in a structured and sustainable way.
We have also been engaging with industry initiatives to support training and competency within the construction sector.
This includes discussions with Construction Industry Training Board around competency frameworks that help ensure tradespeople are equipped with the right knowledge and standards within the industry.
Looking ahead, Rezinate Renovationz is exploring the development of training workshops to share knowledge and practical skills with others interested in learning about epoxy resin installations and decorative finishes.
Community and diverse business networks
Beyond construction-focused networking, we’ve also been actively engaging with organisations that support diverse entrepreneurship.
Attending events hosted by the Black Business Collective has provided valuable opportunities to connect with other ambitious founders, exchange ideas and build supportive professional relationships.
These communities play an important role in creating visibility, collaboration and encouragement for growing businesses.
Looking ahead
As we move forward, our focus remains on building strong relationships within the construction and property sectors while continuing to develop the Rezinate Renovationz brand.
We are currently in early discussions about launching a dedicated networking group for professionals within construction, property and facilities management.
The aim is to create a space where industry professionals can connect, collaborate and share opportunities in a more focused environment.
Combined with our plans to launch training workshops and continue exhibiting at industry events, the future looks exciting.
Final thoughts
Joining the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce has been a fantastic step for Rezinate Renovationz. The connections, learning opportunities and exposure to new networks have all contributed to the progress we’ve made over the past six months.
For any business looking to expand their network, gain insights and become part of a supportive professional community, Chamber membership is an opportunity well worth exploring.
