Small businesses invited to free webinar today on 2027 recycling changes
Recycling firm SUEZ is inviting small business owners to join a practical, 30-minute webinar today, which will explore new waste management changes coming on March 2027.
Under the new changes, businesses with fewer than 10 employees will be required to comply with the same recycling requirements already in place for larger organisations, including the segregation of food waste from general waste.
The webinar will take place from 2pm to 2.30pm where SUEZ will explore what smaller businesses need to know and share insights gained from working with organisations that have already undertaken the transition.
From reducing waste costs and contamination to improving recycling rates and environmental reporting, there are valuable lessons to be learned from businesses that have already implemented these changes.
It will discuss what the March 2027 requirements mean for smaller businesses, why food waste segregation is becoming a key compliance focus, common implementation challenges and how larger organisations have overcome them, together with practical opportunities to reduce waste-related costs and improve operational efficiency.
The webinar will be delivered by regional experts Shane Bogg and Colin Voos with host Adam Pembrey, marketing manager for SUEZ.
Shane Bogg, SUEZ Regional head of sales, said: “As the March 2027 deadline approaches, smaller businesses can learn from larger firms' experience with last year’s Simpler Recycling rollout, especially regarding food waste separation.
“Understanding common challenges and solutions will help SMEs reduce costs, improve recycling, and stay compliant.”
