SME champion with ‘high standards’ is Lichfield and Tamworth president’s choice
A Tamworth businessman credited with championing SMEs and upholding high standards of business practice within his sector has been recognised by Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber of Commerce president Fiona Rouse.
Peter Robinson, managing director of insurance brokers Prizm Solutions, received the Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber President’s Award during the Chambers’ annual awards dinner at The Belfry Hotel and Resort.
The award was sponsored by Fiona’s company PI-KEM.
Peter founded Prizm in 2006 and has been praised for “radically changing the way insurance is transacted”.
Fiona said Peter was deserving of her award due to his support for local businesses and ensuring SMEs have the protection they need.
She told attendees at the Royal Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield & Tamworth and Cannock Chase Chamber (SLTC) awards dinner: “This year for my President’s Award, I would like to present it to a true gentleman who has many truly unique qualities.
“Peter not only champions SMEs and ensures they have the protection they need, but he also calls out others in his business sector that fall short of his high standards.
“As a proud, and highly successful, Tamworth businessman he also supports multiple local organisations including Lichfield Festival and Grace Cares.
“Personally, he and I have shared many a coffee, much laughter, and experiences that he has had as a stroke survivor that have inspired me to push forward with my own health challenges.”
The SLTC awards dinner – sponsored by Amazon and South Staffordshire College - was attended by more than 250 people.
