SMEs offered grant funding to cover training costs
Businesses in Cannock Chase, East Staffordshire, Tamworth, South Staffordshire, and Lichfield can now apply for grants to cover the full cost of training.
The funding now on offer via local district councils comes after the Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce's Skills Hub was awarded nearly its 600th grant.
The grants of up to £5000 are on offer to businesses of all sectors, with the councils urging businesses from the hospitality & logistics sector to apply.
The Skills Hub is welcoming applications for a wide variety of training needs, from sales and management training through to more niche & bespoke courses.
To qualify, businesses must be classed as SME 's, have been trading for more than 6 months and training must be paid for by the end of October.
Businesses based in Lichfield can currently apply for 48 per cent grant funding.
