Software company appoints CEO as president of global group
Diane Palmquist, CEO of Marston Green-headquartered software company Flooid, has been promoted to president of Acrelec Group, while continuing to lead Flooid.
The group says the appointment reflects strong confidence in Diane’s vision and 25 years of experience in global enterprise software, while ensuring alignment and continued shared success across both organisations.
Meanwhile, Martyn Osborne, EMEA CEO with 35 years of retail technology leadership experience, has taken on responsibility for the APAC region.
As Flooid expands its international footprint including local investments in Australia and France the company continues to leverage the global network of its parent company, Glory Global Solutions, to deliver stronger local support, scale innovation, and better serve multinational retailers.
Martyn (pictured) said: "We’re delighted to have joined the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and also joined the Solihull Chamber of Commerce as part of GBCC, to actively engage with local and regional businesses.
We look forward to developing further relationships in the region and connecting with the various global business initiatives that the GBCC has now connected us to.”
