Solihull accountancy firm backs grassroots football
An accountancy firm has answered a call from the Solihull Moors Foundation to sponsor kits for a grassroots football programme.
Solihull Moors Foundation supports a variety of primary and secondary schools within the borough of Solihull.
They put out a plea for a local business to sponsor their School grassroot programme that would ensure that they had a kit for when the teams take part in football tournaments.
This would mean the teams would be unified wearing matching kits. In addition they would be able to provide kits for children and young people to wear without additional costs for families or the charity.
Prime Accountants eagerly answered the plea and have kindly sponsored Solihull Moors Foundation school team for the up and coming season.
Becci Fox, CEO Solihull Moors Foundation, said: “We are very grateful to Prime Accountants for kindly offering to sponsor our schools kits. This now means that when playing in tournaments our schools have a sense of pride in playing as part of team and have a team identity.
“The kit will be seen in local and regional tournaments, and see our participants play at various football grounds around the UK. We are so pleased that not only does it bring a smile to our school teams but it also means we are able to visually show the support we have been given by Prime Accountants.
Kevin Johns, managing director of Prime Accountants, said: “We 're pleased to be supporting Solihull Moors Foundation with new shirts for their school team, now proudly sponsored by Prime Accountants Group. We appreciate all of the work that the Foundation puts in to encouraging not only young footballers but young people more widely in Solihull to create opportunities for growth, both in and out of football.
“As a business with offices in Solihull, we realise the impact Solihull Moors Foundation has on the area and we were keen to show our support to further strengthen the community that we are all proud to be a part of. ”
