The Solihull Apprenticeship and Pathways Show will return in January, providing an opportunity for employers and training providers to share their apprenticeship and post-16 training prospects with local young people.

The show will return on 28 January at the North Solihull Sports Centre and is set to attract around 1000 visitors.

Josh Evans, an apprentice from Halfords, was one of the exhibitors at the last show.

He said: “This is Halfords’s first time being at the show.

“There are plenty of people asking questions.

“I'm glad that this event has been put into place to help young people progress their skills at an early age, especially with apprenticeships.

“I absolutely love my job and it's only because of the support that I’ve been given. By progressing with my apprenticeship, I can now give advice to future apprentices.”

Exhibitors can share information about their apprenticeships and post-16 training programmes such as BTEC and T-levels for school leavers.

There is no charge for employers and training providers to promote their opportunities and all industries are welcomed.

Spaces are limited on a first come first served basis.

Booking includes an exhibition space and table with the company bio and details to be featured in the digital directory of the event.
