Solihull apprenticeship show set to return
Students in Solihull are being invited to boost their career knowledge and prospects at this year 's Solihull Apprenticeship Show.
Following a two-year break, Life Ready Solihull 's event returns this academic year offering students and their parents/ carers the opportunity to attend not one, but two apprenticeship shows.
The Solihull Apprenticeship Show is a great opportunity to:
- Learn all about apprenticeships
- Discover a variety of sectors and meet employers and training providers to discuss opportunities up to degree level
- Speak with apprentices to hear about their experiences
- Find out about the application process, where to find advertised apprenticeships and when employers open their recruitment windows
The shows will be held on the following dates:
- Wednesday 12 October 2022, 3:30-7:30pm at Cranmore Conference Centre, Cranmore Avenue, Shirley, B90 4LE
- Wednesday 8 February 2023 (during National Apprenticeship Week), 4.00-8.00pm at North Solihull Sports Centre, Conway Road, Fordbridge, Birmingham, B37 5LA
The apprenticeship show is targeted at young people in school years 10, 11, 12 & 13 alongside their guardians.
A wider audience are also being encouraged to attend through advertising across the borough including Colleges, Sixth Forms, local Job Centres and social media.
Previous shows have seen over 2,000 people attend.
There is also an opportunity for businesses to exhibit at one or both of the events.
