Solihull Chamber takes local business voices to Westminster
Patrons and executive committee members of the Solihull Chamber of Commerce attended a roundtable discussion at Westminster Palace, by invitation of local MP Saqib Bhatti.
The event provided an opportunity for local business leaders to engage directly with national policymakers.
It also included a networking lunch, sponsored by the Solihull Chamber.
Speaking about the visit Saqib Bhatti, MP for Meriden and past Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce president, said: “It was a pleasure to host members of Solihull Chamber of Commerce in Parliament following the visit I was pleased to organise.
“It was a valuable opportunity to hear directly from local businesses about the opportunities and challenges they face.
“The West Midlands has a huge tradition of business and entrepreneurialism and the chamber is at the heart of that. I will always champion the strives and grafters, the job creators and the risk takers.
“Solihull has a strong and dynamic business community, and I am committed to ensuring their voices are heard in Westminster as we work to support growth, investment and skilled jobs across the borough.”
