Solihull Community Housing appoints new chief executive
Solihull Community Housing (SCH) has appointed Mark Pearson as chief executive.
Pearson (pictured) brings nearly 30 years of social housing experience to the role, having previously served as chief executive of Leeds and Yorkshire Housing Association and managing director of 54North Homes.
He takes over from Lee Sugden, who has served as interim chief executive for the past six months.
Pearson said: "I am proud to be joining the team at Solihull Community Housing, as their vision to create safe, healthy and good quality homes is one that resonates strongly with me.
"I look forward to leading the organisation and working alongside my new colleagues to continue building on the fantastic work they already do each day to help residents thrive in their communities."
Simon Wilson, chair of the Board at SCH, said: "On behalf of the SCH Board, I am delighted that Mark is joining us as our new chief executive.
"Mark brings extensive experience as a leader in the housing sector, and I know that he will be welcomed by all at SCH and our partners in Solihull Council."
