Solihull firm to play key role at Birmingham tech week

A fast-growing Solihull technology company is set to play a key role in the proceedings with a focus on diversity and inclusion.

Members of Wise, one of the Midlands ' fastest-growing firms, will be delivering presentations on talent and technology at Birmingham Tech Week, which is the UK 's largest regional technology festival. The event is set to take place between10 and 14 of October.

As sponsors of Digital Skills Day on13 October, Wise will be heavily involved throughout the day. James Orton, the company 's CPTO and Hannah Jarrad, head of people and culture, will be delivering a presentation on how firms can scale-up with technology talent in the Midlands.

Following this, there will be a 'Women in Tech ' roundtable looking at how businesses and individuals can make changes to help address the gender imbalance currently seen throughout the UK technology industry.

The day will be wrapped up with 'Talk, Tech & Tipple ', an evening drinks event in collaboration with School of Code at The Button Factory in the Jewellery Quarter.
