Families across Solihull are being invited to enjoy an evening of Halloween-themed fun, entertainment and fireworks while supporting a local hospital charity.

Solihull Hospital Charity has partnered with Silhillians sports and conference centre to host a special fireworks display on Sunday 1 November.

The event will bring together the community for a night packed with family-friendly activities, food, fundraising and dazzling fireworks.

Visitors can enjoy a range of attractions including charity stalls, a tombola, spooky games, hot food and a licensed bar.

Children are also encouraged to dress up and take part in the event's best halloween costume competition, with prizes available for the best-dressed ghouls, witches, wizards and monsters.

The event has been made possible with support from cloud accounting system services, whose sponsorship is helping Solihull Hospital Charity deliver the event for local families.

Fundraiser from Solihull Hospital Charity, Fiona Ahearn said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Silhillians sports and conference centre and cloud accounting system services for what promises to be a fantastic evening of family fun.

Not only is the event a great way for people to celebrate bonfire night and Halloween with friends and loved ones, but every ticket sold helps support our local hospital and community services and the patients they care for. We look forward to welcoming the community for a memorable night."

As well as enjoying the fireworks, attendees can purchase a £1 ballot entry alongside their entry ticket for the chance to launch the display themselves.
