Solihull Moors plan match day with a twist

Solihull Moors will offer fans a matchday with a twist when they entertain Grimsby Town on Tuesday 23 November.

Live music and guest food stalls will take the matchday experience up a level as Moors look to entertain the crowd both on and off the pitch.

The band Goat on a Trolley are residents at the Belfry Hotel but for one night only, the Trevor Stevens Suite will be their stage. Goat on a Trolley's Dem and Simon, one from Sutton and the other from Sri Lanka, have been earning rave reviews for over five years.

Guests will be able to catch the acoustic duo, along with their unusual mascot, during two 45 minute slots.

Between 6.45pm - 7.30pm they will help ramp up the atmosphere prior to kick off and then hopefully Moors fans will be celebrating during their second set from 9.45pm - 10.30pm.

There will also be plenty of foodie guests situated in the FanZone, each bringing their own unique individual style and flavour to the evening.

Panjabi Rasoi are a caf� based in Great Barr and will be bringing their authentic Panjabi flavours to the Moors with samosas, tandoori wraps and chilli chips on offer.

Then there 's Taste of Jamaica, where Darren will be whipping up his delicious mutton curry and rice, the perfect winter warmer.

For a taste of Italy Salut� have you covered, serving up stone baked pizza slices straight from their clay oven with a whole host of toppings.

Last but not least, the Nags Head will be on hand to deliver delicious pub food straight to the terraces, talk about a winning combination. Moors fans really will be spoilt for choice!

Gates open at 5.45pm, so there is plenty of time to soak up the pre-match atmosphere, enjoy delicious street food and listen to some top quality live music!
