Solihull Moors Foundation, the Solihull Chamber of Commerce’s charity of the year for 2024, has announced they will be hosting a celebrity football match to raise funds for charity.

The football match will take place on Sunday, 24 March at ARMCO Arena Damson Parkway, Solihull. Doors will open at 1:30pm, and kick off will be at 3pm.

The funds raised by the match will be split between Solihull Moors Foundation, The Lucie Southall Leukaemia Fund, and Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

The match is part of the Sellebrity Soccer campaign- in 2012 Darren Eadie and Kevin Cooper launched Sellebrity Soccer to raise even more money for charity - organising celebrity football matches. From smaller grounds to Premier League stadiums they arrange regular, large-scale celebrity football matches across the UK.

Becci Fox, CEO of Solihull Moors Foundation, said: “We are delighted to be hosting such a different kind of football event that will welcome everyone, not just to watch football, but to catch a glimpse of their favourite celebrities. The day will also see the Solihull Moors Foundation, The Lucie Southall Lukemia Fund, and Birmingham Children’s Hospital be able showcase the fantastic work they do to support others”.

Tickets for the match can be purchased HERE.
