A few places are still up for grabs at the Quarterly Business Report (QBR) report launch, organised by the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce (GBCC).

The Quarterly Business Report offers an up-to-date snapshot of the performance of the Greater Birmingham business community. It is also the most comprehensive regular report of its kind in the city-region.

Underpinning the report is data gathered from quarterly surveys completed by businesses from across the Greater Birmingham area.

Speakers at the event include GBCC director of external affairs Raj Kandola, Mills & Reeve partner Jayne Hussey and Paul James, chief commercial officer of Birmingham Royal Ballet.

GBCC policy and projects officer Gemma Dilkes (pictured) said: “We are looking forward to welcoming Paul James and Jayne Hussey as keynote speakers to discuss such an important dimension of Birmingham's identity as a diverse city: its international brand.

“The survey results this quarter, which will be presented on Tuesday morning, reveal a slight easing of inflationary pressures after a turbulent year of extremely high costs.

“Nevertheless, the reality remains that the recruitment landscape is challenging for businesses in all sectors.

“There are still spaces remaining to sign up for this flagship event hosted by sponsors Birmingham City University - it will be great to see many familiar and new faces join us on the day.”

The event is free to attend and you can book your place here.
