Speaker announced for upcoming Quarterly Business Report launch
Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce (GBCC) have announced the first guest speaker for the upcoming Q4 Quarterly Business Report launch.
Mark Lupton (pictured), area director, Greater Birmingham Business Banking, HSBC UK Bank Plc will be joining the panel at the Q4 Quarterly Business Report launch event on the theme of growing the entrepreneurial landscape of Greater Birmingham.
Mark has over 20 years’ experience in Commercial and Corporate Banking across two financial institutions.
For the past eight years he has led the Greater Birmingham Business Banking team supporting exciting SMEs with complex needs either in terms of debt quantum or complexity of product; or they are fast growing, international trading or require strategic support due to turnover size.
He leads a team of 16 Managers offering a face-to-face relationship service.
Raj Kandola, director of external affairs at GBBC, said: “We are delighted that Mark will be joining the panel for our upcoming Quarterly Business Report launch to talk about how HSBC support the local business ecosystem, providing invaluable support to businesses of all sizes across the city-region”.
“We look forward to hearing about how Mark’s team within HSBC provide personalised relationship-managed support to help small and medium sized businesses in particular to thrive and grow whilst remaining resilient in the face of macroeconomic challenges”.
In addition to Mark’s presentation, delegates in attendance at the event can expect to hear the results for the Q4 QBR survey followed by a second keynote address, the speaker for which will be announced soon.
Sponsored by Birmingham City University and a well-established feature in the local business calendar, the quarterly event attracts a senior level audience for networking, discussion and intelligence sharing.
The QBR offers an up-to-date snapshot of the performance of the Greater Birmingham business community. As the flagship economic publication of the GBCC, it is the most comprehensive regular report of its kind in the city-region.
Underpinning the report is data gathered from quarterly surveys completed by businesses from across the Greater Birmingham area.
