A qualified chartered accountant, wealth management partner and a budding entrepreneur will headline Asian Business Chamber of Commerce’s Vaisakhi celebrations next week.

Vaisakhi celebrates the Sikh community’s harvest festival honouring the work of farmers and paying tribute to God for food and future prosperity.

The event will take place at the National Conference Centre on Wednesday, 22 April, bringing businesses, community leaders, and professionals from all backgrounds to explore how cultural understanding and shared traditions can foster stronger, more cohesive communities. It will be chaired by ABCC Executive Committee Member Sunil Mahay from Vasu Legal.

Attendees can hear insights from Bally Ark, director of Ark & Co Ltd, Kira Sehmbi, wealth management partner at True Potential Wealth Management, and Chamkor Singh from Mr Singh's All Vegetarian Pizza

Bally Ark qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994 and as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 1998, bringing over thirty years of expertise to his clients.

He offers a blend of deep technical tax knowledge and practical commercial insight.

Renowned for his strategic thinking, Bally has built an outstanding reputation for delivering tax planning, specialist advisory support, and trusted guidance to small and medium sized owner-managed businesses as well as larger international family offices, providing the kind of discreet, high-calibre counsel that complex tax planning often demands.

His accountancy and tax practice, Ark & Co, employs over 45 staff in the UK and India.

Kira Sehmbi has over 20 years of experience in financial services and has been running her own practice for 10 years.

She specialises in wealth management, retirement planning, investments, protection, and inheritance tax planning—supporting clients in building, protecting, and passing on their wealth effectively.

Her approach is simple; putting clients first, cutting through complexity, and providing advice that is easy to understand and act on.

By combining trusted expertise with award‑winning technology, she makes financial planning more accessible, transparent, and empowering.

Mr Singh’s began life as Pure Veg, a small family owned restaurant in Smethwick, opening in 2005.

Two years later, the business relocated to Oldbury, re‑launching as Mr Singh’s and focusing on what it does best – making what it proudly describes as the world’s greatest pizzas.

Since then, the business has continued to grow and now operates two locations with a flagship dine‑in restaurant in Handsworth Wood and a takeaway site in West Bromwich.

As pioneers of the vegetarian dining experience, Mr Singh’s continues to innovate with new and exciting menu offerings.
